The best option depends on operating frequency, available excavation depth, drainage and the level of physical deterrence required. Surface-mounted folding posts are straightforward where the supporting slab is suitable; recessed products require careful installation and ongoing attention to the ground socket.

• Confirm concrete depth, drainage and underground services before excavation.
• Keep moving parts clean and inspect fixings regularly.
