Concrete stop blocks provide a highly visible and substantial way to define boundaries, protect vulnerable areas and discourage vehicle access. Their weight and footprint make them suitable for car parks, compounds, yards and temporary or permanent site layouts where a lighter post may not provide enough presence.

Selection should consider the intended vehicle, available footprint, lifting method and supporting surface. Concrete products are heavy and delivery must be planned around safe unloading and positioning. They should not be treated as certified impact-protection devices unless a specific tested performance is stated.

Before delivery

• Confirm unit dimensions, weight and the intended spacing.
• Check vehicle access and arrange suitable mechanical unloading.
• Prepare a stable, level supporting surface.
• Keep sight lines, drainage and pedestrian routes clear.

For larger quantities or layouts requiring exact spacing, send a plan or marked-up photograph so that delivery and positioning requirements can be reviewed.
