Accessories for setting, tying and handling formwork

The supporting accessories are as important as the form face. Road-form stakes hold line and level, extractors assist removal, and stillages organise transport and storage. Tie bars, connectors, waler plates and wing nuts form part of a coordinated system for resisting fresh-concrete pressure.

Accessories must be compatible with the formwork design, dimensions and expected loads. Do not substitute components solely because thread or hole dimensions appear similar; capacity, material and condition also matter.

Before ordering

• Confirm form type, hole or thread size and required quantity.
• Check whether components are purchased individually, in packs or as assemblies.
• Plan safe extraction, cleaning and storage after each pour.
• Replace bent, damaged or excessively worn components.
